Brussels Renovation

During the construction of the Finance Tower in Brussels, the use of asbestos was the most normal thing in the world. In the construction of this visually defining tower, workplace safety was an important aspect. The accommodation was therefore furnished by Van Overbeek with a pre-shower zone, according to the car-wash principle, with an automatic start. Hereafter, the separate showers followed, where the labourers could further wash themselves. On the ground floor and surrounding each pillar, a complete space was furnished to provide the necessary comfort to the labourers in these kind of situations. During the eighteen months of construction approximately 150 labourers renovated the tower completely and "La Femme" was once again one of the great eye-catchers in the heart of Brussels.
